Those participating in M-COR have shared their concern about our local economy and how we might retain more commerce within our communities rather than spending so much "off the hill". In addition to using our standard U.S. currency, we have discussed bartering and time banking systems. Food and Household Items Cooperative

One of our projects, facilitated by Flavia Krieg, is Food Cooperative. This will consolidate shipping of product to our area for larger numbers of people and consequently save on fuel and expense for all participants.
