This is your community... your future!

    As part of our community, or even a nearby community, there is plenty for you to do. Getting involved is motivating and inspiring to yourself as well as others. It connects you with others and builds a sense of growth and livliness. You have purpose and importance through working with others. In addition, you have a say in your future through your actions and the movement you create through your connection to the community. Consider the following and where you might like to fit in.

Attend an Event - Check our M-COR calendar, Meetup page, and Google Calendar for ongoing events, trainings and meetings. There is always something interesting happening!

Sign-up for our Newsletter - It's simple! Just send us an email to info@m-cor.org with "Subscribe" in the subject line. We'll add you to our newsletter list and send you updates if anything important is worth sharing.

Plant a Garden - Sustainability is all about being personally involved in your own survival, which can mean producing your own food and providing for your own needs (like clothing, housing, etc.), as well as responsibly disposing of your own waste so that it helps to support the environment. If you are making efforts towards doing any of these things, you're participating in the goals of M-COR and we applaud you. Let us know what you're doing so we can partner on taking it to the next level.

Join a Working Group - See our Working Groups list in the right hand column. There are many wonderful teams building our community's future together. Why not check our various calendars, listed under "Attend an Event" and join one that interests you?

Create a Working Group - Maybe you have an interest, experience, or skill that isn't represented by any of our current Working Groups and feel inspired to start one your self. We'd love for you to contact us and set one up or simply sign up on our Meetup page to plan an exploratory date and time for a meeting.

Teach a Class - There are always a need for teachers! If you have a skill or trade that would help others live more independent lives, more sustainable lives, why not share it with us. We're eager to learn! Set up a Meetup class or contact us through email at info@m-cor.org. You can even call us at 951-708-0411. We'd love to hear from you!

Schedule an Event - Perhaps you see a gap in our training and know of someone who might come and speak to us about it. You can contact us for assistance through email or by phone at 951-708-0411, or simply go to our Meetup page and set it up yourself. We're very negotiable and would love to have you take charge.

Donate Something - While we haven't yet set up a clothes closet or thrift store, we do take some items like books at our library and possibly some office equipment. You never know unless you ask. If we can use it, sell it, or recyclie it, chances are we'll find a place for it. Annika Knoppel at our Resource Library is a good place to start. She has it down to a science!
